Cry Wolf
Cause Poster
The "Cry Wolf" poster was produced in response to the recent legislation introduced that would allow for the hunting of wolves once again in many western states. Wolves were hunted without restrictions until protection laws were introduced in 1974 when the wolf population whithin the continental U.S. was almost non-exhistent. Since then the wolf population has slowly grown to just under 6,000. With new laws threatening to allow hunitng once again many fear the population could decline to number similar to those prior to 1974.
The phrase "Cry Wolf" is ironically combined with the image of the wolf faded away by bullets. The wolf itself is crying a warning to others as it falls.
